René Kriedemann is founder and principal consultant of 2ndwave wLAN consulting. His business is focused on planning and analysing commercial WLAN´s based on partnerships with Ekahau Inc., PSIBER Data GmbH, Network Instruments Inc. and Cognio Inc. .

From 1999 to 2002, prior to forming 2ndwave, he was the channel and regional sales manager for the D/A/CH region and Eastern Europe for Proxim Corporation, the WLAN pioneer and market leader. During this time he was the first to bring wireless home networking products to the German “Media Markt”, the largest retailer for consumer electronics. Furthermore, he trained system houses and distributors and supported large wLAN projects. At numerous tradeshows and conferences he did public relation work in order to make the wLAN technology better known. Already in October 2001 he run the first official German 5 GHz wLAN consisting of serial products at SYSTEMS, the most important IT tradeshow in Munich.

He started to deal with wLAN products during his time with AMP Germany (today TYCO Electronics) where he was responsible first for pre- and post sales support of networking products and later, at the product management department, for the complete line of active networking products.

René (born 1965) received his BS in Informatics at 1990 at the Technical University of Magdeburg, Germany.
